I could wait for the world to end
And search every land and sea
Not anywhere on this earth
Is there a girl who could love me
So lonely, hiding in the dark,
Waiting to be played like a game again
No girl could ever want
For us to be more than friends
If I were to die and go to heaven
Love would still not exist
No matter how sweet I could ever be
All girls have learned to resist
So alone I sit, day by day,
Wishing love could be real to me
But nothing but alone
Will I ever be...

Angelfish
Trawling in the sea of love,
Just going with the flow,
I caught a pretty mermaid once,
But I had to let her go.
Now, years have come and gone,
The sun is hanging low.
I'll cast my heart out one last time,
And then this boat, I'll stow.
Wait... I sense a tiny flutter...
Something's tugging at my bait!
She's pulling at my heartstrings...
Perhaps, I'm not too late!
But this angelfish is wild and strong,
And my line has gotten weak.
I reel her in so very slow,
With the tender words I speak.
She wants to bolt, she wants to dart,
She tries to swim away.
As I watch her disappear from me,
I bow my head to pray...
"Dear God, you sent me, from above,
A love that is so fine.
Please tell me, Lord, what can I do
To make this angel mine?"
Just going with the flow,
I caught a pretty mermaid once,
But I had to let her go.
Now, years have come and gone,
The sun is hanging low.
I'll cast my heart out one last time,
And then this boat, I'll stow.
Wait... I sense a tiny flutter...
Something's tugging at my bait!
She's pulling at my heartstrings...
Perhaps, I'm not too late!
But this angelfish is wild and strong,

She tries to swim away.
As I watch her disappear from me,

"Dear God, you sent me, from above,
A love that is so fine.
Please tell me, Lord, what can I do
To make this angel mine?"
Just Don't Get Me
You just don't get me
Try to understand my point of view
The meaning behind what I see
My motives for seeking all that's new
None of you can even comprehend me
The shoes I wear, a different size,
If you knew, you would have set me free,
And stopped believing in your own silly lies
Not even those closest seem to grasp me
They believe what they want to believe
Letting me be is the key
For me to stop running and never leave
I don't think you really get me
You would rather take what you need
Growing wilder than the branch of an oak tree
Anticipating where my freedom will lead
Do you even want to know me?
Maybe my insides are just too scary for you
A different person; a strange cup of tea,
Don't worry; I'm not getting you too!
Try to understand my point of view
The meaning behind what I see
My motives for seeking all that's new
None of you can even comprehend me
The shoes I wear, a different size,
If you knew, you would have set me free,
And stopped believing in your own silly lies
Not even those closest seem to grasp me
They believe what they want to believe
Letting me be is the key
For me to stop running and never leave
I don't think you really get me
You would rather take what you need

Anticipating where my freedom will lead
Do you even want to know me?
Maybe my insides are just too scary for you
A different person; a strange cup of tea,
Don't worry; I'm not getting you too!
A Friend
Love At A Distance
Waiting for the clock to tick
Yet it ticks all around the dial
Dreaming of your beautiful face
That I haven't seen for a while.
How much longer can it feel
My eyes well up with tears
What if something stops you coming
This just adds to all my fears
A few weeks feel like an year or more
Surely this is hell on earth
I miss you darling do you know how much?
Every second I cherish your worth.
We share so many phone calls
But they can't nearly replace
The feeling of your loving arms
In our warm and tender embrace
The power of the love we feel
Makes our days together fly
So much in so little time
When you leave I have to cry.
I know that you'll be back soon
Though it doesn't heal the pain
Of all the waiting I'll endure
Until you're here with me again...
Yet it ticks all around the dial
Dreaming of your beautiful face
That I haven't seen for a while.
How much longer can it feel
My eyes well up with tears
What if something stops you coming
This just adds to all my fears
A few weeks feel like an year or more
Surely this is hell on earth
I miss you darling do you know how much?
Every second I cherish your worth.
We share so many phone calls
But they can't nearly replace
The feeling of your loving arms
In our warm and tender embrace
The power of the love we feel
Makes our days together fly
So much in so little time
When you leave I have to cry.
I know that you'll be back soon
Though it doesn't heal the pain
Of all the waiting I'll endure
Until you're here with me again...
Homie
This poem is dedicated to Rohan, my best pal in college and the best guy I'll ever know... Cheers to ya, homie!!!
We are buddies,
This is a fact.
Like a pair of shoes,
And a nap sack.
Together we prove,
United we fall.
This is us drunk,
Getting smoked off the wall.
The person you told,
About your first time.
I sat up and heard,
The whole damn crime.
We've been in trouble,
We've been in shit.
Remember the time,
We missed detention by a bit.
We have been through lots,
The ruts and bumps.
Just never forget,
We are chumps.
I wrote this poem,
Sad, but true.
And if you are my homie
This is definitely for you...

I Promise
This poem needs no explanation, and i can offer none... Just read it and check it out for yourself...
Just there where no one cries
Sky where no vulture flies
No stinking smell of rotten flesh
I promise I'll love you there,
With my heart afresh.
Where no man lives in the street
For living no one touches your feet
No possessor of mankind, no deprived slave,
I promise I'll love you there,
With all my rave.
Just there when you open the door
To the strangers to help them more
No destitute dies like an eternal waste
I'll be with you there,
And love you my best.
Where there is no cultural debate
A place where no religions to hate
People live life like as it is
I promise I'll love you there,
Like an open breeze.
Just there where my brothers don't fight
No war and no soldiers on either side
No discriminations for and colour and race
I'll be waiting for you there,
To see your angelic face.
Where there is no boundary to confine people
No one fights for religious steeple
No holy war to put life in a swirl
I promise I'll love you there,
In that blessed world...
