Life started out
On Happy Street
Carefree times
Memories sweet.
Drifting on
To the Drive of Dreams
Wishing stars
Alluring moonbeams.
The Road to Success
Where ambitions thrived
My new abode
For which I'd strived.
Down the path of Life
Came an unexpected twist
Stumbling I fell
Into a vague mist.
The Avenue of Clouds
My next address
Where reality lives
And dreams regress.
Happiness wilted
As greed did gain
Now living alone
In Memory Lane.
Life is a journey,
An unforgiving track,
Just one way traffic
With no way back...
